Legal committee to decide UNP Alliance symbol

The legal committee appointed by the two factions of the UNP is scheduled to finalize the name of the new alliance.

The committee will announce the name of the new alliance this Wednesday at the UNP central working committee meeting.

Meanwhile, it is reported that the election commission has declined to recommend the heart symbol as such an election symbol is not available on the scheduled list.
